
Lovingly known to her family as "Wadey" or "Chunky", she taught P.E. at Edison High School for 35 years. Helen was the enthusiastic sponsor of the Edison High School Honey Bears Pep Squad and Drill Team. She was a devout, lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church and deacon in charge of the Community Elements and Prayer Team for the Contemporary Worship service.
She was a beloved resident of the Monte Vista Community. Her Walk to Emmaus in April 1994 transformed her into a faithful follower of Jesus. She is preceded in death by her parents, M. Riley and Helen Wyatt; brother, Miles R. Wyatt and her beloved husband, Jack Buescher.
She is survived by her nieces: Joy L. Wyatt of Lubbock, TX; Kay W. Barry and husband, the Rev. Dr. Michael S. Barry of Philadelphia, PA; great nieces: Sara E. Gilding and husband, Jesse of Tecumeseh, MI and Becca W. Bishop and husband, Josh of Boulder, CO; great-great nieces: Lillian Grace Gilding, age 2 and Molly Jane Gilding, age 1; and her much-loved four legged children: Bud, Greta and Wesley.
She will be deeply missed.
