Helen Mary Pawlik

Helen Mary Pawlik, born June 28, 1915 in Koscuisko, TX, entered into rest on November 19, 2010 at the age of 95. She is a loyal parishioner of St. Gerard Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar & Holy Name Society and Senior Citizens. Helen was a dedicated employee of Sweeney and Company for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix & Albina (Wiatrek) Pawlik; sister, Rosalia Pawlik; brothers & sister-in-laws, Henry & Mattie Pawlik, Peter & Adela Pawlik, Edward & Theresa Pawlik; niece, Gladys (Pawlik) Johnson. Survivors include her nephews & nieces, Alvin & Marian Pawlik, Magdalen (Pawlik)Johnson, Mary Ann (Pawlik) Annis, Dorothy Pawlik, Edward Pawlik, Jerry & Barbara Pawlik, Thomas & Bridget Pawlik; and numerous other loving family. Visitation will take place from 5:30-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Gerard Catholic Church with Rev. James E. Shea, celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery. The family is especially thankful to the Seraphic Sisters & Staff of St. Francis Nursing Home for their love, care & support.
