Henry Phillip Blank

Henry Phillip (Nickie) Blank, age 78, died on October 6, 2013. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 25, 1934 to Charles R. and Lillie Mae Blank. Nickie graduated from Texas A&M University in 1956 with a degree in chemical engineering. He was a long time member of the Association of Former Students and the 12th Man Foundation.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dana Blank; sons, Randy Blank and wife, Val, Rick Blank, Roddy Blank and wife, Vanessa; granddaughters, Rebecca Blank and fianc, Andrew Belton, Rachel Blank Gil and husband, Gabe, Kate Blank, Maddie Blank; step granddaughter, Taylor Hillbrand and one great grandson, Bear Sanford. Survivors also include his brother, Charles Blank, sister, Dorothea Lyons Hall and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Lillie Mae Blank and sister, Jeannine Googins.

Visitation will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary North on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Following the visitation, the funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. The burial service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Nacogdoches.
