Henry “Shorty” Cerda Castillo was called home to be with the Lord, on November 06, 2015 at the age of 56. He is preceded in death by his mother Cecilia Cerda, siblings; Juan Castillo, Jesse Castillo, Jackie Trevino and granddaughter Mallory Ann Castillo. Henry is survived by his partner Alice Herrera, children; Enrique Herrera, Darlene Herrera, siblings; Jerry Castillo, Robert Castillo, Frank Castillo, Nellie Perez, Yolanda Castillo, Diana Castillo, Ellie Jennings, Cecilia C. Castillo, 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren and his dog “Spotty”. A visitation will begin on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Trevino Funeral Home 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 11150 Macdona-LaCoste Rd, with Interment to follow at San Isidro Cemetery, Macdona, TX.
