He was preceded in death by his spouse Rose Palacios, brother, Ronnie Palacios and sister, Melissa Palacios-Patino. Henry is survived by his parents, Henry and Irma Palacios; his two sons Joseph and Michael Palacios and granddaughter Melody Palacios; brother, Benjamin Palacios (Julia); brother, Michael Palacios (Diana); and brother-in-law, Raul Patino; and sister-in-law Perla Palacios and nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Katy Taylor High School and attended Del Mar College then onto University Of Houston. He then graduated from Columbia School of Broadcasting. He played for the Houston Rolling Cougars which was a wheelchair basketball team. It allowed him to travel to Canada and all over the US which he enjoyed very much.
He loved watching his Houston Astros, Los Angeles Rams, Houston Rockets and Dallas Stars but his biggest thrill was watching his nephews and nieces play sports, he was so proud of them all.
He was an advocate for people with disabilities and mental health throughout Texas which he was very compassionate about. He would help counsel those in need. Henry was definitely a people person full of ambition, drive and a heart of gold. His own disability never stopped him from having a positive attitude towards life. He set a great example to us all.
