Herminia Campos Garcia

Herminia Garcia, age 82, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Herminia was born in June of 1940 in San Buenaventura Coahuila Mexico. She obtained a teaching degree and taught primary school until she married Hector Garcia on December 18, 1965. She and Hector moved to San Diego California in February of 1966. Hoping to be closer to her family, they moved to San Antonio, Texas where they remained their whole lives. Herminia was a stay at home mom to her two daughters, but she was also bookkeeper for her husband's car painting business and ran the household budget. She found time to take English classes and obtain her GED. She faced many health challenges at the end of her life, but she was grateful that she had lived a long healthy one full of love and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zapopan and Lauro Campos. Herminia is survived by her husband of 57 years, Hector; her sisters Leticia, Josefina and her husband Benigno, Carolina and her husband Heliodoro; her brothers Lauro, Roberto and his wife Elvia; daughters Juanaelena Garcia and her husband Shawn Kane, Diana Golibart and her husband Mike. Herminia Garca, de 82 aos, falleci el jueves 11 de agosto de 2022 en San Antonio, Texas. Herminia naci en junio de 1940 en San Buenaventura Coahuila Mxico. Obtuvo el ttulo de maestra y ense en la escuela primaria hasta que se cas con Hctor Garca el 18 de diciembre de 1965. Ella y Hctor se mudaron a San Diego California en febrero de 1966. Con la esperanza de estar ms cerca de su familia, se mudaron a San Antonio, Texas, donde permaneci toda su vida. Herminia era ama de casa para sus dos hijas, pero tambin era contadora del negocio de pintura de autos de su esposo y administraba el presupuesto del hogar. Enfrent muchos desafos de salud al final de su vida, pero estaba agradecida de haber vivido una vida larga y saludable llena de amor y familia. A Herminia le sobreviven su esposo por 57 aos, Hctor; sus hermanas Leticia, Josefina y su esposo Benigno, Carolina y su esposo Heliodoro; sus hermanos Lauro, Roberto y su esposa Elvia; hijas Juanaelena Garca y su esposo Shawn Kane, Diana Golibart y su esposo Mike.
