

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Herminia Gomez, who left this world peacefully at the age of 90. A devoted woman of faith, Herminia lived a life full of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. Born with a gentle spirit and gifted hands, Herminia found joy in the simple yet profound things in life. In her younger years, she had a passion for sewing and took pride in making beautiful dresses for her sister, a gesture that reflected her generous heart and creativity.
Herminia was known for her incredible cooking, always welcoming loved ones with a warm meal and open arms. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where traditions were passed down and memories were made. She cherished family gatherings and believed in the power of togetherness—no celebration was complete without her loving presence and homemade dishes. A woman of deep faith, Herminia found strength and comfort in prayer. Her devotion served as a guiding light for her family and those around her.
Herminia's legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely, the meals she prepared with care, and the faith that carried her throughout her life. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mariano Martinez, Janie P. Garcia, husband, Charles Gomez, brother, Santiago Martinez and grandchild, Markie.
Herminia is survived by her children, Pablo( Sandy), Carlos, Marcus, Lorenzo (Tina), grandchildren, Brittany, Sisto, Corina, Paul, Isaac, Crystal, Xavier, Sergio, Carolina, Anthony, Veronica, Bobby, Logan, great grandchildren, Zanarah, Florinda, Ezekiel, Lincoln, Abraham, Daniella, Isabella, Aurora, David, Ares, Nicolas, Penelope, Aurora, Zahrya, Samarah, siblings, Lino, Manuel, Maria, Jesse, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation for Herminia will be Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 12:00PM until Monday September 8, 2025 at 8:00AM with a prayer service at 7:00PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio TX 78211. Celebration of life will be Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11:30AM at Trevino Funeral Home with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
