Homer, born to Homer A. Phillips & Ruth Elena Long on 11/15/1926, passed away March 11, 2021 at the age of 94.
Homer served in WWII. He was an educator, a researcher and an inventor. He studied zoology,
graphology, ornithology and dentistry. Homer loved flying and was an excellent pilot.
He practiced orthodontics in Windcrest, TX until the age of 85.
Making people smile was his true passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Hess & daughter Olivia Elise Phillips. Homer leaves to cherish his memory, his children Celia Phillips (Jessie Miller), Leah Phillips-Harold (Jim Harold) & Homer Clay Phillips (Terry Phillips), 9 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
In his eyes, his family also included his staff, especially Yvonne Mier, who he loved like a daughter. Thank you to Mike Guerra and Le Parc Assisted Living for helping in his care.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
