Hortie was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Ellen Lyman; first husband, Seymour C. Lyman and second husband, Walter F. Fein. Hortie is survived by her son, Herbert M. Lyman and wife Jeannie; daughter, Hilary Lyman Kavy and husband, Neal; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Hortie is also survived by Walter's children, Marshall A. Fein and wife Debra, Ellen Fein Jackofsky and husband of Blessed Memory Rabbi Lawrence Jackofsky, Randall J. Fein and wife, Deborah and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Beth-El Memorial Park, Rabbi Mara Nathan officiating.
