She was a member of First Assembly of God Church for 65 years, where she served as a greeter and Missionette coordinator. She served as PTA President in the Harlandale ISD for 27 consecutive years and was awarded a Texas life PTA membership.
She loved baking, entertaining, snow skiing, riding with her husband on their motorcycles, parasailing, cruising, and most of all, making memories with her family and friends whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by Rhollie Nix, her beloved husband of 58 years; parents, Phillip and Ellen Wiley; brothers, Richard and Will Ed Wiley; and sister, Joyce Bailey.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Nix and wife Linda, Ronnie Nix and wife Jan, Terry Nix and wife Barbara; daughter, Rahlene Luna and husband Robert; grandchildren, Brent Nix, Crystal Elwell, Dustin Nix, Justin Nix, Spencer Luna, Tebra Nix, Shanae Nix, Brittney Luna, Raleigh Nix, Marshall Nix; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Brandon, and Christa Nix and Addison Elwell; brother, Preston Wiley; sister, Norma Jean Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
