Isaiah was born on January 12, 2000, in San Antonio, Texas, to JR and Elsa Lelea. He grew up in San Antonio, attending school there, and was known from an early age for his bright smile, playful spirit, and kind heart.
Isaiah had a passion for creativity and precision. He discovered origami at a young age, mastering the intricate art of folding paper into detailed figures. His patience and determination were evident in the way he challenged himself with increasingly complex designs. He loved to play the guitar and could read music. At a young age, Isaiah worked hard to save $850 to purchase his own guitar, demonstrating his discipline and dedication.
As a teenager, Isaiah enjoyed playing football and spending time with his family and friends. He had a generous heart and cared deeply for others. His parents recall a trip to Cabo when he accidentally shattered a glass door and immediately worried about others' safety, a reflection of his thoughtfulness and compassion.
In his later years, Isaiah battled bipolar disorder, a struggle that made life profoundly difficult for him. Despite his challenges, he remained a loving son, brother, and friend. His warmth, kindness, and resilience will always be remembered by those who knew him.
Isaiah is survived by his parents, JR and Elsa Lelea, his brother Elijah Lelea, his beloved pets Milo and Fiona, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Isaiah will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
The Lelea family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shared their condolences and support during this difficult time.
