Jack Houston Hooker passed away at the age of 89 in San Antonio, TX on November 15, 2019. He was born in Wichita Falls, TX to Edwin and Ruth Hooker on August 4, 1930. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 44 years Jean Marie Hooker; twin sister: Jill Smith; Granddaughter Jessica Purtee. He is survived by his two daughters: Lori Leggett, Rebecca Yancey; sister: Mary Beth Wise; grandchildren: Joshua Wischnewsky, Patrick Yancey and Daniel Yancey. Jack was a true Texan whose hobbies included golf, and grilling outside; he was known for his killer Sunday steak cookouts. A lover of all Texas sports teams he held the Spurs the closest to his heart. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and Uncle. he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Police Benevolence Society.
