

He was born Nov. 16, 1918 in Mechanicsburg, PA, the son of Charles L. and Lucy Ogden Wolfe.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1939 where he completed his basic training in Chanute, IL. After achieving the rank of Master Sergeant, he satisfactorily completed the officer's candidate test and was commissioned an officer in August of 1943.
While on assignment in Japan, he was a squadron commanding officer where he organized and taught English as part of President Eisenhower's "People to People" program. He retired from the Air Force on December 31, 1965.
He married Mary Virginia Patterson on April 5, 1942 in Urbana, IL, and she preceded him in death on July 14, 2003.
After retirement, they made their home in San Antonio where they were charter members of San Pedro Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of the Mason lodge and the Shrine.
Also, preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Ann Robeson; and a grandson, Joel Wolfe Martin.
Survivors are his daughter, Donna Martin and her husband Kenneth of Tulsa, OK; son-in-law, Donald Robeson of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Captain and Mrs. Jeffrey S. Martin of Macon, GA, Stephen Robeson of Brenham, TX, Mary Ann and Brion Driskel of Stillwater, OK; Nathan and Shelly Robeson of Houston, TX; great
grandchildren, Connor and Nicholas; brother, David A. Wolfe of Clayton, MO; sister-in-law, Esther Wolfe of Dallas; nieces, Cheryl Ann, Susan and Debbie Wolfe and Yvonne Wood.
