Rudy will always be my favorite! I loved to listen to him laugh and tell stories in his proper West Texas drawl. He may have been big as a bear, but he had a heart like a puppy. Here's to you, Rudy!

Carolyn and I just returned from vacation and learned that Rudy had died. He was a great guy and a joy to coach. Both of us enjoyed watching Rudy's grandmother cheer him when he came up to bat and he usually did not disappoint any of us. We are thinking of you and all of the family. Sincerely, Bobby Moegle

Many people are fortunate to have been touched by Rudy's friendship. He was a repsected high school teamate and valued friend. We are blessed as a result of that relationship. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who loved him.

Rudy was such a happy presence in the halls, classrooms, and teachers' lounge of our school. For most to the year, it seemed he was there everyday, a full-time sub. And he was never seen without a smile on his face and kind words to say. He will be missed by the faculty and the students.

We played football together in high school. He will be missed.

Hi Emelie: I am Travis and Janelle's daughter from Tracy, CA. I live 30 miles away in Stockton with my husband of 22 years and yellow lab. No kids. Wanted to tell you how sorry I am that Rudy died. You were a great influence on me when you guys came to Tracy... because you played tennis and I remember how cute you were with tanned legs and white feet. I thought that was terrific!!! Rudy always made me laugh. I think about you guys often and mother always kept me up to date with news of the Fosters. I was sad when Curtis died, because Trav is the only one left and I know he's lonesome for curtis, durwood, otis, thad and bill. They were great uncles. I loved them a lot. It just broke heart as I have always loved him since the first time I saw him when he was about 6 yrs. old when Ottis and I marriedand I thought he was the cutest little boy! It was always such a pleasure to see his smiling face. He was someone you instantly liked when you met him. We'll miss seeing him at the Cactus.

I remember walking in the Teacher's workroom in the morning at Roosevelt High School and being greeted by Mr. Foster's smiling face. He loved to talk and I loved to listen to him. He was a gentle giant and I will miss him immensely. My sincere condolences for your loss.

rudy was a nice guy, eventhough he broke my nose playing basketball in the 9th grade. the world was a better place because rudy payed it a visit.
