James William Small, Jr., age, 72, of San Antonio, TX died suddenly on Saturday, July 27, 2002. He was born on September 12, 1929. Jim was raised in Elmendorf and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and St. Mary's University. He was a decorated veteran of the Korean War, and a senior partner in Hahn, Small, Batto and Huang, L.C., Certified Public Accountants. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Small and Constance Ball Small and brother, Paul Small. Survivors are his wife, Ruth; children, Kenneth Small and James W. Small, III, and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Lacy, Harley and James IV; brother and sister-in-law, John and Patricia Small; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Don Nichols; and numerous nieces and nephews.
