Jimmy had many great adventures in life. He studied anthropology and archaeology in Mexico. He later met Susan, and they married in 1980 on South Padre Island. They became small business owners together and proudly opened and ran the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory on the San Antonio Riverwalk from 1987 until 2022.
He loved golf, traveling, art, animals, and telling great jokes. Above all, Jimmy was happiest when spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan (Pollock) Manns, his son Michael Manns and his fiancé Eileen Ramirez, his daughter Lauren (Manns) Hughes, son-in-law Zachary Hughes, and his beloved grandchildren Halen and Audrey Hughes. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with his two loyal pups, Fred and Charles.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
