James Edward McCormick, age 91, received his promotion to heaven on Monday, September 25, 2023 in Schertz, Texas. James was born on January 6, 1932 in Pettus, West Virginia to Lottie Dickens McCormick and Charles McCormick. James retired from the U.S. Army after proudly serving for 20yrs. James was an active member of Williamsburg Lions Club for many years. James was also amazing at woodwork and shared his gifts with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed. James was preceded in death by his parents and; sons, Dempsey Ray McCormick and Mark Edward McCormick;. James is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Helen Mae McCormick; daughter, Barbarann McCormick; grandsons, Joshua Isaiah McCormick and James Stratton McCormick.
