James Fred Taylor Sr, 62, of San Antonio passed away Wednesday November 10, 2021. He was born in San Antonio on October 13, 1959.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Carrie Taylor; father James Zalmer Taylor; mother Tillie Taylor; brother Silas Louie Taylor; and son Bobby Zalmer Gonzales.

He is survived by his daughter Carrie Guia (Michael); son James Fred Taylor Jr; grandson Michael Gaia Jr; 3 granddaughters; sister Maria Gonzales; brother Armando Mata; niece Carmen Gonzales; great-nephews Tata, Boo Boo, and midget; nephews Jose Luis Gonzales (Julie) and Tony Gonzales; great-niece Elvira Pena.

A visitation for James will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held Thursday December 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 1730 Dahlgreen Ave, San Antonio, TX 78237. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd.
