Jane Kelley Eklund, age 97, a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007. She was born in San Antonio, but was raised and graduated high school in Danville, IL. She returned to San Antonio and has been a resident for 68 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Theodore Tilden Eklund. She is survived by her daughters: Susan J. Eklund of Kerrville, TX and Sandra Mangum and husband, Dr. H. Eugene Mangum of San Antonio; granddaughter, Meredith Mangum Lamme and husband, Edward; grandson, Matthew Kent Mangum and wife, Martha, all of Austin; great-grandchildren: Brady Robert Lamme and Tilden Lee Lamme; and her good friend, Myrtle Scott.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 29th from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
