

Jane White Hullinger Rouhier, age 80, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in San Antonio. She was born December 28, 1930 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mildred Womack and William Paul White. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Rouhier.
She was a member of Speech Arts of San Antonio and "The Extended Run Players" Theater troupe, Alpha Omicron Phi Sorority and The University of Georgia Pan-Hellenic Council. She graduated with a BS in Education 1951. She taught second grade from 1951-1953.
Jane started performing as a child and was involved in community musical theater throughout her adult life. She had a beautiful soprano voice and was in numerous stage productions. She was a member of several choral groups including the "Skylarks" and also performed as a soloist at many events and weddings. She loved to be on stage and especially loved to make people laugh, very much like her father.
Vivacious, silly and fun, everything reminded Jane of a song! She sang until the last few days of her life. She loved her life and wanted everyone to join the fun.
Jane is survived by her children, Kay Hullinger Speier and husband Jim, Lynn Hullinger Speier and husband Johnny, Jean Hullinger Henslee and husband Bob, Susan Hullinger and husband Michael Campbell and Bob Hullinger and wife Carolyn O' Brien, step-children, Dan Rouhier, Jeanmarie Rouhier Willoughby and Chelle Rouhier Melzer; grandchildren Chris Speier and wife Jamie, Liz, Mark and Kevin Speier, Gus and Hank Henslee and Lily Campbell; great grandchildren, Taylor, Ava and Truett Speier; sisters, Marilyn White Prankard and Kay White Rivard; nieces and nephews, Scott, Brad , Mike and Susan Methvin, Angela Rivard Bennett, Cathy Rivard Harrison and Bo Rivard.
