Jane Ann Smallwood

It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our Mother, Jane Ann Ridenhour Smallwood. Born in Amarillo, Texas on April 21, 1950, she passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 28, 2022. Our Mother is survived by 4 children, sons Michael Dion Smallwood, Joe Stuart Smallwood, Robert Scott Smallwood and partner John Vasquez and daughter April Leigh Harpole and husband Jeffrey. She left 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and many family and friends. Mo, as she was known by most over the last 18 years, had several bonus children and grandchildren whom she loved like her own.

This woman spent the majority of her life as a homemaker before taking a couple of jobs and finally starting her own business that she ran for several years before selling it and retiring to help her daughter and son-in-law with their 5 children. She lived her life for her family. She’ll join her mother Letha Ridenhour and father, Thomas Ridenhour and many friends and family who were waiting for her.Although she will be sorely missed, her legacy of love, laughter, positivity, strength, and courage will carry on through her children and grandchildren for generations.
