Janet was a wonderful person, both inside and out. She was extremely friendly, and caring. It was a pleasure to work with Janet because of her positive "upbeat" disposition. I enjoyed the time we worked together as a fellow Executive Associate.

Janet and Babe (Jesse) joined a group of co-workers in a limo ride to the USAA Holiday Party downtown, December 8th, just 3 days after her 40th birthday. We had great evening, lots of laughs, all dressed up and riding in style. The memory of that evening will remain in my heart. 

She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and co-workers.

I met Janet a few months ago at USAA. She was very nice and full of energy. On our second meeting we discovered that we were both born on December 5th. She spoke of her husband ‘Babe’ and her children very dearly. I know that she was very proud of her family. I only new Janet for a very short time, but I felt like I knew her for years. She took me under her wing and made me feel at home when visiting USAA. I can say that she had one of the kindest and friendliest personalities of anyone I have ever met. People like Janet are a blessing to this world and I know that she will be missed by many people, including myself. I hope that we all can continue to learn from Janet and love one another the way she expressed her love for the ones closest to her. My heart goes out to all who new Janet. My thoughts and prayers ask God to comfort her family and friends. God bless

May the Lord grant your family peace in this time of sorrow. Janet was a wonderful lady! My family will miss her terribly. Janet had such a loving heart. She always came to the security admin office to look at the recent pics of Isaac, she attended his baptism at our church (Our Lady of Guad) and always called once a week to chit chat to make sure the family was doing ok. I will never forget the time we went for a ride on campus when she got her new car-the honda. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I knew Janet for a short time, however within this time she often spoke about 'Babe' and her children. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to the family.

Every time I saw Janet I never stopped smiling; even while on the phone with her the smile never left my face. I am so glad and thankful to have spent so much time with her during our cruise vacation. I'll forever cherish those moments with her. Words cannot express how deeply sorrowful I am to learn of Janet's passing. She was truly an angel! I was looking forward to spending a week with her on the cruise to the Carribean.

Janet, Babe & Tia Chavela were at our house the Saturday before God decided to have another Angel in Heaven, she was exicited about how everything was going on in her life with her family. I am still in shock of the sudden loss of such a beautiful woman. I pray that her "Babe", her children, mother, sister, and family are able to continue their journeys in her honor. She had this amazing daughter/friendship with her mother Isabel they were two of a kind. I know that this is a difficult time for a mom to lay her daughter and best friend to rest and I pray that God will continue to give her strength.
