The Lord called Janie Factor Alexander home on November 30, 2010 in Breaux Bridge, LA. She was born in Del Rio, TX to Ardie & Guadalupe (Escalanta) Factor, Sr. on March 17, 1955. Janie was a nurses assistant who devoted her life to helping the elderly. She was preceded in death by Artie Factor, Guadalupe Factor, Frank Factor, Ruby Factor, Krystal Young & Meicko Cuevas. Surviving are her husband, James Alexander, Sr; son, James
Alexander, Jr,; daughter, Sherriee Alexander; grandchildren, Bryston Royer, Shelby Royer, Javen M. Alexander; brothers, Robert, Ardie, Jerry, Steve Factor; sisters, Shirley, Susie, Penny, Mary Lou Factor. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
