She was born in Walters, Oklahoma in 1918.
Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Maj. Herbert V. Kerker US Army, Retired.
She is survived by four children, Patricia Edmonds, Shirley Finch, Victoria Anzaldi, and Michael Kerker. Grandchildren are: Lane, Greg, and Scott Finch, Teri Medina, Tracy Privett, Tamara Lenhardt, Clay and Matthew Kerker, Tim and Tom Ohs. Great grandchildren are: Trey and Jack Finch, Russell and Taylor Ellis, Amy and Amanda Lenhardt, Jamie Cantu, Mika and Dylan Medina, Jennifer and Drew Privett; and sister, Edith Jessup of Ft. Worth, Texas.
