He was preceded in death by his mother, Karla Bell, and his older brother, Shawn Bell. He is survived by his father, Melvin Kent Bell, and Stepmother, Debra Sue Bell.
Jason was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and later moved with his family to New Mexico and then to San Antonio where he spent the majority of his life. He is a graduate of McArthur High School in San Antonio. Jason loved the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed reading and playing golf with friends.
A graveside service will be held at the Wetmore Community Cemetery at Stahl and Higgins Road on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with the Pastor Milton Lewis officiating.
