

Larry grew up playing sports, especially football and baseball. He loved hunting and fishing, and always had a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors. He particularly enjoyed collecting old bottles he found, as well as arrowheads around Texas. He was also an avid Aggie fan.
Larry attended John Marshall High School, graduating in 1973. He attended Southwest Texas University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1979.
He married Christi Ann Linahan in 1984, and was the proud father of two wonderful children, Clinton & Jayme Lin.
Larry worked in the Construction industry with various companies for most of his adult life. He loved what he did and met many great people and friends along the way.
Friends and family probably remember him most for his smile and laughter that would light up the room. He had an infectious laugh, witty sense of humor, and was always joking with others.
Larry was a kind, loving and compassionate man. Always checking on others and wanting to make sure they were OK. He leaves behind many grateful and loving family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Robert Clinton McArthur, and grandson, Cameron Charles McArthur.
He is survived by his wife Christi, son Clinton and wife Laura, grandson Cole, daughter Jayme Lin and granddaughters Paisley and Lacey, his mother Janelle, brother Robby and his wife Beth, sisters Melloni and Domini, and many nieces and nephews, along with numerous friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heights on Huebner for the love and care they gave Larry for the last 11 years.
Larry touched the lives of many. He brought Joy and laughter to everyone he encountered. He will be deeply missed.
