Jayne Ann Cartier

Jayne Cartier, beloved wife, grandmother, mother, and cherished friend, passed away on June 27, 2023, after a valiant fight with cancer. Jayne was born on July 2, 1946, in Hartford, Connecticut to Kenneth and Joyce Spellman. Her departure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Jayne was happiest when she was with her family. She loved hosting holiday dinners, taking her grandkids shopping and attending school events. She was also an avid sports fan who loved to tailgate. She was a talented and lifelong quilter with some of her most beautiful pieces given to family and friends. Jayne loved her family, but her soulmate was Fred. Married in 1993, Jayne and Fred lived a full life together. From Connecticut to San Diego or Kansas City to San Antonio, no matter where they lived, they were inseparable.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Cartier, sons Trey Mann and wife Laurie, Dennis Mann and wife Kelly, and daughter Kristen Cheney and husband Bart. The loves of her life were her grandchildren Ryder, Cooper, and Emma. She talked about them to everyone she knew and was so proud of all of them.
