

She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 1, 1918. She married LT Robert John Bruton of Racine Wisconsin on October 14, 1939 in San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years.
She attended St. Mary's Hall and Incarnate Word College and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church since birth where she served as wedding coordinator for many years.
She was also involved in the Junior League and Timely Topics. She taught at Christ Lutheran Day School.
She loved spending time in Port Aransas with family and being with her family, especially her great grandchildren and her Keating cousins. She was a dog lover, enjoyed bird watching and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Bruton Wheeler and husband Thomas, son, Frederic Antony (Tony) Bruton and wife, Betty, son Peter William Bruton and wife, Mariana, grandchildren Robert Hugh Bruton and his wife Julie, Elizabeth Bruton Adelman and her husband Daniel, Peter Bulkley Bruton, Olivia Kent Bruton and Julia Dearing Bruton, and great grandchildren, Sophie Grace Bruton, Eloise Georgia Bruton, Jane Aubrey Adelman.
The family expresses great appreciation for the care from the SAAMC and Chandler Morningside Ministries staff, especially Enrique De Luna whose kindness and professionalism sustained us.
