He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Belden.
Jeff was a soulful man. A lover of classic rock, those close to him were often treated to lessons on guitar solos and lyrical interpretations. We imagine he’s meeting with all of the “greats” and enjoying the most epic concert of all time!
In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed making memories with his family, smiled biggest when surrounded by animals of all kinds and loved exploring the great outdoors. He was also a true-blue fan of the New England Patriots.
Though he lived in San Antonio in later years, Jeff was always proud to call Springfield, Massachusetts “home”.
We’d like to remember Jeff with these lyrics from one of his favorite Traffic songs:
“I'm a traveling soul
And every mother's son
Although I'm getting tired
I've got to travel on”
He is survived by his mother, Joanne Belden; his brother Mark Belden and wife Rebecca; nephew, Brady Belden and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
