I met Jennifer in August 2000, in Tucson, Arizona. We were studying at U of A. She was pursuing a master in Environmental Engineering and we became friends. Over time we exchanged emails and phone calls. She was an outstanding human being. She was a great friend and was loved dearly by everyone who had the luck to meet her. Family and career made a little difficult to stay in contact with her over the next years, however every time we had the opportunity to exchange messages it was a real delight. Some circumstances made me not to stay in touch very often during the last years and I found out last year, on July 27th that she had passed....I was devastated. It took me a while to realize she was gone forever. I will always remember her with great love and gratitude. Love to Laura, Lilly and Amber, to her family and friends.

Hearing her name in this tragic story had me fearing the worst and I am truly sorry for the loss of these girls' mother. It was coincidence that she worked in the same building as my wife and the three of us would occasionally run into each other. I can't imagine the level of grief, but Laura, Lilly and Amber, stay strong and lean into the embrace of your family.'
