Jenny Mata, it’s been 2 months since ur departure and it still feels so surreal. It feels like your still in this world, maybe you are in spirit. Too bad we can’t laugh or talk like before but just know I love you so much like day one. Merry Xmas and happy New Years up in heaven. 

It’s been over a month since ur apart. And sometimes I get the Eager to pick up the phone and text or call you. Sometimes it feels so unreal that I feel like if ur in San Antonio and not actually passed. I’m happy I got to be your friend Jenny mata. You have no idea ur always going to be in my heart! I have your pictures all over my house, and when I have visitors they ask who you were.  Every time I begin to tell them the place you held in my life , I can’t help but to smile. Just the thought of you brings a simple smile to my face. So many great memories. I’m glad your resting only you know the pain you wer in , but Jenny mata I can’t help but miss you so much at times. Love you jenny Mata.

Where to start... the memories we build were amazing. We laughed, we cried, we even farted together. We had late night munchies yum. We had interested chismes and we even invented some to laugh 😂. But Forsure our crazy secrets we shared together.I met you in 2014 even though in my heart I feel I know you since little girls. You were good people my Jenny mata. And I’m blessed to had  met you in my life, and I also know I was an important person in your life.  Memories are too many with you that it’s hard to decide that one special one. But if I had to choose one it would have to be when we met.  We had gotten out of training from our new jobs (CCA ) and you suggested to go eat. We went together even though we had just met let alone didn’t know each other’s names. We decided to go eat at chick-fil-a , as you gave ur name out I found out we shared the same name. (Jenny) static about the name I raised my voice and said no way my name is Jenny too. You turned red, and shhh 🤫 me. Confused I stayed quite.  As we sat down you told me I’m sorry it’s just people we’re gonna be like Mira estas llegaron juntas y no saben como se llaman. 😂😂😂 I love you Jenny mata. Always💜💙💜💙

I still remember like it was yesterday the day i met u, u were so quiet and i just knew by the way u looked u were a sweet and a  big hearted person, i just knew u were the right one for our family. I remember when we went to South Padre Island and we all had so much fun😁the one special thing about that was that u gave me something of yours and i will always remember that moment,that one thing will always and forever stay with me 💗love and miss u💘u will always be remembered💐

I remember when you first moved to Sa I think I was in elementary and you would pick me and Anthony up from school even tho it was just 5 mins away we always had to have our hot Cheetos so you would stop at the store all the time and in the summers you were always up for a trip to pick up and go to canyon lake even tho it was raining we begged you to take us and only went swimming  for 5 mins then got out cause we were cold😬 sorry for being a pain sometimes I love you so much ♥️

My sweet and beautiful neice Jenny I will always remember you as a super caring person who always so sweet to me just a beautiful person inside and out .I will always remember us joking and laughing about everything and you always being my favorite neice .I will not say good bye I'll just say see you later my precious neice love u Chula your aunt Sylvia 

My memory of my beautiful daughter is when i found out i was expecting her i had a difficult pregnancy. I would go to church and pray to God please let my baby be ok. She was born February 23 at Mcallen Medical Center in McAllen Texas to myself and her Dad we were very happy. She was a smart loving caring daughter and very funny. She was a fighter she loved life and she loved more than anything her sisters and brothers and all her nieces and nephews and of course her wife Yesenia they were inseperable. I love you mija Thank you for being an awesome daughter my friend my rock my beautiful Jenny Lee 💖 Rest in Peace give a big hug to Tommy Boy  and my Dad love you forever till my last breath💖

My Jenny was about 3 when I first met her. She holds a very special place in my heart just like out Tommy and all her siblings❤ she took a bit of my heart with her!  Once she started her fight I was right there with her and I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to have her in my life❤ spread your wings our beautiful angel love you always and forever! I remember you so funny and loca! When we were little girls youd get moms chones and put them on our faces when wed sleep .. you were daddys girl. So many memories and moments that i cant name them all. God bless you sister .

Jenny is survived by her wife, Yesenia Ochoa; parents, Tomas and Tracy Mata; paternal grandmother, Berta Mata; maternal grandmother, Aurora Benavides, Berta Mata; siblings, Brandon Mata, Tammy Mata, Selena Mata, Bertha Mata and Valerie Mata; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Tomas Mata, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Arturo Mata and maternal grandfather, Jesse Hancock.
