Jerry Roscoe Davis

Jerry R. Davis, passed away peacefully after a brief illness Sunday June 5th, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Raeford, NC, and after graduating high school served proudly in the United States Air Force reaching the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, retiring after 26 years. He made numerous friends after the Air Force working at Benson Mercedes and the United States Postal Service facility on Perrin Beitel Road. Jerry was quick to laugh and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 46+ years, Barbara Davis, daughter Jodi Davis Garza of Leander, TX, son Jamie R. Davis of Hillsborough, NC, and 4 grandchildren, Isabella, Ryan, Van and Nicholas. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road on Wednesday, June 15th from, 5pm-7pm. A military burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road on Thursday, June 16th, at 10:15am.
