Jerry Lee Hearn

Jerry Lee Hearn entered into eternal rest on April 20, 2023 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on January 20, 1948 in Falfurrias, TX in the Rio Grande Valley to Roscoe Stuart Hearn and Emma Catherine Hines.

Growing up Jerry fell in love with classic hot rods and enjoyed building model cars. A joy that continued throughout his life. He also found a love for music, in high school he was part of the theater and involved with his school band playing multiple woodwind instruments. Upon graduation he enrolled at Texas A & I University,during his time there Jerry belonged to the jazz band and traveled the country with them. Following his graduation from A & I he was an avid member of their alumni association which he was exceptionally proud of.

Jerry was an incredibly hard working man he started his career in IBM and Xerox and later moved into pharmaceutical sales. No matter where Jerry worked he excelled and was often honored as Sales Rep of the Year. After Jerry retired his love of computers never dwindled, nor did his love of storytelling and his witty dry sense of humor that his customers and co-workers often enjoyed. Now he also had more time to enjoy his family and some quiet time. His greatest love was spending time with them especially at the beach, he loved to snorkel. He also loved to sit and enjoy the guilty pleasure of binge watching a good TV series.

Jerry was the type of man whenever you needed him he was but a phone call away. Always willing to lend a hand and offer a laugh or a good story. He leaves behind his loving family to cherish those memories. His children; son Jerry Lee Hearn II & wife Rebecca, daughters Melanie Hearn and Shawna Bryden. His grandchildren Catherine Murray, Presley Murrell, Justin Stout, Nicole Georgie, Samantha Georgie, Brandon Georgie, Colleen Burke, Zyllah Bryden, and Vayln Bryden. His sister Nancy Hearn Busse and niece Vivian Dian Busse, and his beloved dog Bella.

Jerry has now reunited with his parents Roscoe and Catherine Hearn.

The Hearn Family will be receiving guests from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 26,2023 at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232. A memorial service for Jerry will begin at 11:00 AM at Sunset North Funeral Home with a reception to follow at 1:00 PM at 219 Deer Cross Lane, San Antonio,TX, 78260.
