Jerry Reeves

He was born in Bloomington, Illinois to James and Mary Lynn Reeves.

He graduated with a B.S. and M.B.A. from Illinois State University and retired as an officer from USAA in 1991. Until recently, he was a realtor with Coldwell Banker D'Ann Harper Realtors. Jerry served in the Army National Guard of Illinois. He was a member of the Illinois and Texas Chapters of Insurance Accounting and Systems Association, the San Antonio Chapter of Financial Executives International, and The American Heart Association. Jerry also served on the Board of Directors of United SA Federal Credit Union and was a leader in Bible Study Fellowship.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and sister, Bob Reeves and Anne Shepherd.

Jerry is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Vera; his three sons, Mike, Dave, and Tyler; his daughters-in-law, Amy and Shelly; and six grandchildren, Miranda, Shea, Colson, Parker, Hudson, and MaryAlan.

Jerry will be greatly missed by his family and friends. However, they know they will be united with him in heaven.

The family wishes to thank all of Jerry's many friends who came to encourage him during his illness and for the hundreds of notes and cards sent to support him during his battle with this dreadful disease.
