Jessica Lauren Barron Werner passed into the arms of Jesus on June 30, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Jessica leaves behind the love of her life and beloved husband of 17 years, James Alan Werner, her parents Eugene and Linda Barron of Granbury, Texas, her brother Eugene Barron III of Pensacola, Florida and her wonderful, extended family.
Jessica was born in Panama City, Florida in 1983. as a military dependent she was raised in Florida, Virginia, Maryland, Germany, England and Texas. She loved the Christmas markets, traveling, history, and storytelling. She attended Bob Jones University and the honors program at University of Texas, San Antonio. Jessica was involved in children’s ministries mission trips in the States and in St. Vincents. She was an avid reader and enjoyed computer games with her James and online friends. Her life was full and joyful. She had a knitting/crocheting ministry that she loved. Jessica supplied blankets, gloves and hats, pillows, socks, and mittens to her loved ones, to elderly facilities, and to the homeless. Jessica and James ministered to many friends in trouble and shared their home with them when in need.
Jessica Lauren was a faithful friend, daughter, sister, wife, and aunt. She freely gave of her time, talents, and faith. Her favorite Psalm was Psalm 100 and her favorite book of the Bible was Joel. We will miss her laughter, stories, companionship and hugs. Although her time with us was short, her impact is immeasurable. As loved ones we always want to know our loved ones are safe and secure. Now we do not have to be concerned, we know where she is. She is in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 3:00 pm. at Porter Loring Mortuary West.
