Jesus Jacinto B. Huerta

Jesus Jacinto B. Huerta, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. He was born in San Antonio to parents, Jesus M. and Rita G. Huerta. Jesus is survived by his parents; his wife, Jocelyn (Encabo) Huerta; his son, Li Emmanuel Encabo Huerta; his brother, Mark B. Huerta and wife, Felicia of Atlanta, Georgia; his sister, Elaine H. Candelaria and husband, Chris; nephews, Acacio A. Huerta, Imyas L., Shaysten M. and Tylamin E.; nieces, Bella A., Attaya B. and Xzaria M.

Jesus was a proud Army veteran, who served with the 217th TC Company at Fort Sam Houston. Jesus (Jesse) Huerta has been a faithful member of Mission Point Christian Church since 1992. Jesse was full of life and known for his joy, and his smile. He was a tremendous servant of God who led small group discussions, and who served the poor with a cheerful heart. Jesse loved teaching the Bible and was very active in sharing God's word with young and old alike. Jesse comes from a large family, and loved and respected his parents very much, and had great love for his siblings and extended family. Jocelyn was the love of his life, and Li the apple of his eye. In everything, whether it was worshipping God, serving the poor, serving his brothers and sisters in Christ, loving his family or just being a friend, Jesse gave his whole heart. He is and was deeply loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
