Jesus Nava, SN, U.S. Navy, was born in Pearsall, Texas on May 17, 1930, and was called home to be with the Lord, on October 17, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 88. He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio & Herminia Nava, his beloved wife Olga Cedillo and son Jose Nava. Jesus enlisted in the the U.S. Navy on May 28, 1950. He was awarded the National Defense, United Nations, Korean Service & Good Conduct medals for his service and was discharged in 1954.
Jesus is survived by his sister Maria Villasenor & his children Patricia, Jesus Jr., Yvonne, Maria, Juan, Yolanda, Rene, Roberto, Raul, Ramiro, 32 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2018 for a 10:00 AM Mass of the Resurrection at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. at a later date.
