Jesusa S. Rodriguez was born in San Antonio, TX on July 13, 1940 to Diego and Esther (Suarez) Salazar and passed away in San Antonio on February 11, 2016. She worked in food service for the NEISD for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert D. Rodriguez; and brothers, Diego, Jr and Richard. She is survived by her daughter, Teri Rodriguez and her husband, Robert J. Torrence, Jr.; husband, Danny Hinojosa; sisters, Ynosencia Ramos, Esther Alva, Catherine Escobedo, Angelita Salazar, Julia Salazar, Mary Helen Salazar; her brothers, Guadalupe Salazar, Jose Salazar. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer plants.
