Jill Anne Stager

She was born June 6, 1956 in Springfield, OH to Mr. and Mrs. John M. Wheeler, Sr.

She graduated from Springfield South High School in 1974. Jill has spent over 8 years in support of the Girl Scouts of America in the San Antonio, Texas area. She served as Unit Director, secretary and Troup organizer. She directly led two troops and impacted the lives of over 500 girls in Kirby and Converse. She also was very involved in Cub Scouting, holding nearly every leadership position available and directly influenced over 300 boys in various cities in the US.

Jill had been a very active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Universal City. She supported the High School Youth Group for several years and was a founding member of the Adult Boomer Group.

Jill was preceded in death by father, John M. Wheeler, Sr. and sister, Kathy S. Wheeler Lowe. She is survived by husband of 28 years, Lt. Col. USAF Ret., Randall Paul Stager; children, Joshua P. and Suzanne Stager of Live Oak, Shawn M. and Patti Stager of New Braunfels, Robert D. Stager and girlfriend, Heather Au, Randall Scott Stager, Ashley Rose Stager and Marcus Alan Stager all of San Antonio; grandchildren, Zachary P. and Kaylee Anne Stager of Live Oak, Veriti P. and Lorelai B. Stager of New Braunfels and Elizabeth Au of San Antonio; mother, Rosella L. Wheeler of Springfield, OH; brothers, Tom and Patty Wheeler of Loveland, OH, Jack and K. Ruth Wheeler of Fisher, IN and Tim and Nelva Wheeler of Urbana, OH; sister-in-laws, Cindy and Don Gilbert of Lima, OH, Pat and Curtis Elder of Brooksville, FL and Pam and Buck McAtee of Springfield, OH.
