WE ARE SO FORTUNATE TO BE ABLE TO REMEMBER THE GOOD OLD DAYS.THE GROCERY STORE AND WATCHING TV POSITIONED ON THE WINDOW.JIMMY, WAS A VERY GOOD PERSON.WENT BY HIS OFFICE A FEW MONTHS AGO AND WE CHATTED.HE TOLD ME THE THINGS HE AND HIS WIFE WERE WORKING ON.I ASKED HIM TO TELL GLORIA HI FOR US.JIMMY,YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS NOW.

Reyna Family: I don't know if you remember me or not, I am Sylvia MartinezRobinson,Queta's ex piano teacher. After many years I caught up with Mr. Reyna this past summer, he did some electrical work for my mother-in-law. I found out about his death from a friend that I recommended him to. I know this is a very sad and trying time for you, I also lost my dad this past August. My sympathy and prayers are with you and this time of great sorrow. Eventhough you may not think so, time is a great healer. May God be with you and your family. Please keep in touch. If I can help with anything or you just need to talk please let me know. To the family of Mr. Reyna, please accept our deepest sympathy on the death of your husband and/or father. Mr. Reyna was a very friendly person, he would always honk his horn when he saw me in the morning or afternoon. We live two houses down from where he lived on Hunters Gate and will sure miss his energy, friendliness and active lifestyle. He was a good American and a good role model. Our pryers are with the family.

What can I say but I hope that you are all doing well I can not tell you how deeply sorry I feel for your loss. The only thing that I can say is that I'm very glad that I have known Jimmy for as long as I can remembe.Even from the time when I lived on Delgado Street until we moved to Taos Dr. I know you know who we are. We have many memories that I will always cherish for the rest of my life. My dad Inez Salinas and mom Luz Salinas or how you would say Lucita those were the days and I have many photos to remind me of what true friends you are. You were always there for me as a young girl and when I got older you never judged me and you always knew what to say to make me laugh. Another part of you will alawys be in my sons life you were his God Father and Laura his God Mother.I never wanted any one else but yall. I had lots of fun growing up as a large family and I will never foget to call you before you came over to play pennie poker with my parents. Jimmy can you bring me some chinese candy please..... Uncle Jimmy, The strongest memories a person can have are those formed in their formative years. I was so lucky to have you and Grandma during those times. It was to you that I took my first steps, to you that I learned to walk and run, how to rock on that little rocker in the screen porch so hard that I would rip it and you would come out and let me back into the house so that I wouldn't get in trouble. I remember you taking me with you when the adults had to do their errands and you always chose me - you said it was because I was not a llorona -- and I also remember being a little girl who wanted to play las comadres but everyone was busy so you would sit down and have tea water with me. I left you when I was five; but continued to come back everyweek and every summer holiday till the day you married your beautiful wife Laura and you soon had these wonderful children named Henri, Cindy, Arnold and Jimmy Jr. You always had a big impact on my life and the part I treasure and enjoyed were those times we shared when we lived across the street from one another. You are my forever 39 years young uncle.
