She is preceded in death by her father Pete Carreon and mother Gloria Lugo.
She is survived by her partner Jim, her children, Gloria and Brittany and Frankie and Punky, her grandchildren Frankie, Arianna, Nolan, Nevaeh, Nicco, Jhonny, and Charlie, her siblings Frank and Alice, Linda and Sam, Pete and Lynn, Joe and Lolly and Eddie; along with numerous beloved nephews and nieces.
JoAnn proudly served her country in the US Army. She enjoyed watching and playing sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Above all else, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
