Joe graduated from San Antonio Vocational and Technical School (Fox Tech) in 1948. He proudly served four years in US Air Force as a S/Sgt during the Korean War. He retired from 37 years of Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base as an aircraft electrician and operational checks on the B-52, C-5, and Quality Assurance Flight Line for the C-130. He received numerous awards and commendations.
He is preceded by his loving wife Virginia, and is survived by his sons and daughters: Richard, Linda, Michael, Henry, and Joanne. Dad was always there helping, giving, and loving his family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26th, 5:00-7:00 PM at Porter Loring on McCullough with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM.
On Monday, June 27th a Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 2127 S. Zarzamora Street. Interment will immediately follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd.
