Joe Will Walker (Sr.) passed away February 16, 2023, at the age of 83 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on July 1, 1939, to John Bower & Mary Louise Walker in Temple, TX. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by father and stepfather, Richard Sedgwick.
He is survived by his mother Mary Louise Sedgwick, his wife Patricia Walker, sons, Joe W. Walker, Jr. (Liz), Thomas Walker (Reese), Robert Walker, and John Scott Walker (Gabrielle), and his grandchildren, Alexandrea B. Walker and Thomas Walker, Jr.
Joe graduated from Edison High School and San Antonio College. He loved to hunt deer, was a WWII history enthusiast, and enjoyed model railroads.
The Rosary will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78230 with the Funeral Mass to follow at 1:30pm. The burial will at Sunset Memorial Park.
