John Edward Elizondo, Sr. "Eddie"

John Edward Elizondo, Sr. “Eddie” born on March 17, 1935 went to be with our Lord on March 23, 2019 at the age of 84. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Florentino and Virginia Elizondo; brothers, Richard Elizondo and Jesse Elizondo. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mrs. Estrella R. Elizondo. He is also survived by his sister, Virginia and his children, John Edward Elizondo, Jr. and James Elizondo and wife, Perla; grandchildren, Michael Elizondo, Christian Elizondo, John Edward Elizondo, III. and Pam Francis Elizondo. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Elizabeth Naples and Lauren Martinez for being of great help to Mr. Elizondo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie was very close to the Lord and attended his daily Masses. He loved telling jokes and singing, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, April 4, 2019 the Funeral Mass will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
