

John Mullins Hill, age 80, retired MSGT USAF, born Aug 23, 1930 in Fall River, Mass to George and Margaret Hill (Mullins), passed away on June 6, 2011. He served his country in the Air Force traveling worldwide. He met and married Marion Dickson in Edinburgh, Scotland. John will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. A man of few words he was known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. John and Marion spent many hours entertaining and welcoming everyone into their home throughout their travels. He was interested in all the local cultures during his military assignments and learned to speak Japanese. John spent many hours completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. He enjoyed listening to a variety of music, watching sports and educational programs, especially about nature and history. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Marion, both parents and his brother James Hill. He is survived by his daughters Dorothie Hill and Sheenagh Cummings, husband Kem, granddaughters Kaitlin and Kristin, sisters June Falvo and Barbara Moran, a brother George Hill, and many nieces and nephews.
