John Bryan McCorkle, Jr. age 83, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in San Antoino on May 15, 1934 to John and Chlorys McCorkle. J.B. was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served two years. He retired from Allstate Insurance Company after 25 years of dedicated hard work. J.B. will be remembered for his sharp wit and love of singing that brought joy to everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of 56 years, Carolia Sue; brother, R.C. McCorkle and sister, Elanola McCorkle. J.B. is survived by his son, Thomas McCorkle (Julie); daughter, Michelle Spinhirne (Stephen); brother, Don McCorkle (JoAnn); sister-in-law, Ann McCorkle; grandchildren, Reid McCorkle and Avery McCorkle; numerous nieces and nephews.
