John Louis Ross, Jr.

John served in the US Army, then began his career working in the lumber business for the next 48 years. He was an employee of Alamo Lumber Company for the past 12 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Phyllis. John is survived by his wife, Faye Ross, a daughter Chante Fraley (Jay) of Jacksonville, AR, a daughter Sonia Sheets of San Antonio, TX, a daughter Jodie Sheets (Curtis Kizer) of Round Rock, TX, and a son Chip Ross (Elaine) of Albuquerque, NM, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters, Jewel Wilson (Larry) of Jonesboro, AR, Betsy Bennett (Ron) of Springdale, AR, brothers Jackie Ross (Linda) of Paragould, AR, and Ronn Ross (Melissa) of Little Rock, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough Avenue. Burial will be in Walnut Ridge, AR.
