Jorge Alberto Chavez

He was preceded by his father, Teodulo and mother, Maria De Los Angeles Maldonado Chvez. He is survived by his loving wife, Maggie M. Chvez, sons, George Jr. Charlie, Joshua Chvez; brothers, Miguel (Aurora), Rafael (Patricia), Carlos (Veronica) Chvez; sisters, Armendina (Jose I.) Ochoa, Elva (Homero) Garza, Alma L. Chvez; step children, Gerardo (Jennifer), and Omar (Mary) Morales; grandchildren, Lathan Chvez, Maegan, Ella Chvez, Aldan, Ashton Morales, Emilee Sichi, Natalie, and Audrey Morales.

Jorge served in the Air Force for over 20 years and graduated from the University of Texas in San Antonio. He taught in Elementary school for 18 years. He loved to collect rocks, gems, etc. and do gardening in his free time.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Porter Loring Chapel. An inurnment will take place on Friday, September 3, 2021, a 10:00 am, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
