Family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Dads Doctor of 23 years Dr. Cecilia Pacheco, and her Nurse Anita Espinoza who had a special place in my dad’s heart, Anita was so kind hearted to our father always ready to help in way possible, she was always only a phone call away for him. Anita constantly went above and beyond. To Maria Medina, our home provider who kept his spirits up when he would say he was lonely and missing mom, Maria was more than just a provider to our parents, but became part of our family and will remain part of us. To Jose and Rafaela Rodriguez, dads neighbor who were always in constant watch mode, for always being there for dad and allowing him to talk their ears off, and ready to assist him in any way possible. Mr. Venancio Garcia, neighbor across the street who too was in constant check on our father. Mr. Garcia has us on speed dial when something didn’t look right.
While dad was only placed in hospice two weeks prior to his passing, he was extremely happy to be able to be cared for by moms’ team now his RN: Mr. Paul Regan, CNA: Patricia Flores, Chaplin: Clark, all these wonderful Signal Hospices’ Employee’s, treated my father with dignity, love and compassion. We the children cannot thank you enough for the love and support you provided to our father.
Dad’s ultimate wish was to live long enough to watch his youngest grandson Max walk the stage for his high school graduation and seeing his future great grandchildren, his body was tired and just couldn’t hang on any longer. Although we know they will be with us in spirit when those special moments happen.
We know he is in peace smiling down on us and happy to be together again with our mom.
