Joseph N. Blackmon, 70, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. He was born in San Antonio on July 19, 1943 to Royal Clyde and Ellen Louise Calloway Blackmon. He is survived by his wife, Gilda Blackmon; son, Joey Blackmon and wife Tammy; granddaughter, Rachel Blackmon; brothers, George Blackmon, David Blackmon (Mary Alice), R.C. Blackmon (Patty); in laws, George Garza, Charles Garza, Robert Garza, Celina Grill (Mack) and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. followed by a Celebration of his Life at 5:00 P.M. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East.
